I’m officially done trying to fit into a mould that wasn’t built for me.
Since 2019, my journey has been defined by my health, my resilience, and a lot of "No’s." I’ve applied for the roles, the internships, and the voluntary positions. I’ve been told I have "so much passion and enthusiasm," yet the door stayed shut.
Recently, someone told me I’m like Marmite. At first, I wasn't sure if that was a compliment. But then it hit me: Marmite is distinctive. It’s bold. It’s an acquired taste.
The corporate world, academia, and traditional business environments are often looking for "blendable." I am not blendable.
So, I’m stopping the search. I’m investing in myself and building my own mould. It’s time to turn my "unique personality" and outspoken nature into my greatest assets.
