This time of year always feels reflective, and I want to take a moment to celebrate everything I’ve achieved

Within My University
• Officially joined the Student Inclusion Panel.
• Contributed to a project on Trust, which was rolled out across several UK universities.
• Became an Ambassador for the Neurodiversity Network.
• Helped design mandatory neurodiversity training for all staff.
• Completed Level 4 with high 2:1 grades – a huge personal win!
• Achieved 65% in Quantitative Research Methods and 72% in Personality, Intelligence & Genetics at Level 5. My feedback highlighted that introducing ADHD into the nature vs nurture debate was an original and valuable perspective.
• Represented students at a University Strategy Meeting, leading to regular consultations with senior management on improving inclusion for underrepresented students.
• Delivered a presentation to EDI Champions on ADHD in women.
• Co-hosted weekly NeurodiversiTea & Chat sessions.
• Created an ADHD Awareness Campaign for the Students’ Association website.
• Proposed and hosted the first ADHD Awareness Webinar (“What is ADHD?”) with 120 attendees.
• Became a Student Leader for a Neurodiversity Inclusion Project.
• Attended multiple student representative meetings, focus groups, and psychology school committee meetings, sharing both positive and constructive feedback.
• Completed my role on the Students’ Association Advisory Board Committee.
• Proposed an ADHD-only student group, which was approved and will launch next year as an “ADHD Special Interest Group”

Personally
• Completed a strength-based coaching programme with Brilliantly Diverse, embraced self-acceptance, and learned to advocate for my needs – truly life-changing!
• Spoke at my first webinar on ADHD misconceptions.
• Featured as a guest speaker on two podcasts (ADHD-friendly systems and ergonomics).
• Co-hosted a webinar on ADHD symptoms in women and hormonal fluctuations.
• Launched The Different Podcast with my amazing friend Reita – now a popular show!
• Applied for many roles without success, but I now see this as a positive – it gave me space to grow.
• Completed 12 weeks of CBT and began understanding CPTSD and RSD to manage them better.
• Became a Neuro Inclusion Advocate for The Neuro Inclusion Project.
• Nominated for four She Inspires Awards: Rising Star, Women in Education, Shero, and Agent of Change – and became a finalist for Agent of Change!
• Founded The ADHD Reframed Project, launched the website, and rebranded the podcast under this initiative.
I’m now seeking sponsorship or investment to expand with tech tools for content creation and editing. If you can help, please reach out! 🤞🏻

At the start of 2025, my goal was simple: raise positive awareness of ADHD.
In recent months, many students have reached out to thank me for my advocacy. Some have even recognised ADHD in themselves and are now seeking diagnosis. Knowing I’ve helped others means the world to me.

Watch out, 2026…… incoming 💪😁💪
