Meet Emma: creator of The ADHD Reframed Podcast
Hi, I’m Emma — founder of The ADHD Reframed Project and host of this podcast. I created this space because I was tired of seeing ADHD reduced to stereotypes, symptoms, and deficit-based narratives. I wanted a place where lived experience was taken seriously, where nuance mattered, and where people could finally feel understood without being judged or pathologised.

Why I started this podcast
This project began as a personal mission, but it has grown into something much bigger: a community-driven effort to reframe how the world understands ADHD. For years, I felt like the conversations around ADHD were missing something essential — the human side. The complexity. The strengths. The emotional reality. The identity-shaping parts that don’t fit neatly into diagnostic criteria.

Creating a space for real stories
I wanted to create a space where people could hear stories that sound like their own, where ADHD wasn’t treated as a flaw to fix, and where nuance and honesty could prevail. My aim is for listeners to feel empowered to use their own voice to tell their story, contributing to a richer understanding of ADHD.
"The ADHD Reframed Project has given me a voice and a community where I truly feel understood."
